Well, the story continues. And just when I didn’t think a book could hurt me any more than Fourth Wing did, here comes Iron Flame.

The amount of sobbing I did in this book was just embarrassing if I’m being honest. But damn it if I didn’t enjoy every bit of it. I wish I could just say things but they’d be spoilers and I was fortunate enough to avoid those. Thankfully. This book hits so much harder when you have no clue what’s coming. Mannnnnn did I have no clue what was coming. Mannnnn if it’s got me messed up.

There are literally parts in my notes where all I wrote was, “Xaden 💛”

“Violence, remember it’s only the body that’s fragile. You are unbreakable.”

Also, issa steamy book, y’all. The first one was too but dayumm.

What a book hangover. Holy moly.
