2021 was wild. Wilder than 2020? No. But wild, nonetheless.
I did a lot better this year balancing time with a toddler and picking up books. 2020 was a bit of a challenge since my kid didn’t want to nap in her crib, but instead preferred someone to be holding her for the full 2-hour affair. She’s also a very light sleeper. So one weird movement or the sound of pages turning and she was back awake. I typically just took a nap with her. Or carefully scrolled on my phone. I DID get a few ebooks in during the year 2020. But we’re not here to talk about that abomination of a year. We’re here to talk about 2021.
I missed this year by ONE BOOK. ONE. BOOK.
I also do realize that I’m posting this in 2023. Better late than never, right? I’ve had half of this post done and ready to go and kind of just forgot I had this draft sitting here needing finishing and posting.
By the way, that blank book cover down there is Heartless by Gena Showalter. I have no idea why it turned out blank but… yea. There’s that. So anyway…
