Book two coming in with even more feels!
I was super excited when I saw I was getting Raihn’s POV in this book. You cannot even begin to fathom how excited I was.
“I’d spend a lifetime at the tip of your blade, and it would have been worth it.”
I LOVED getting to read Vincent’s past. That was one of the most beautiful things about this book. The way I SOBBED.
Whereas in book one we were given a snippet of Oraya’s history with every part, in this book we were given a snippet of Raihn’s. Which was also incredibly fun to read but VINCENT’S story. HIS narrative. Sweet mother of monkey milk I was NOT ready for that.
The different houses play more of a role in this book while just adding to the already incredible world-building and character-building.
This was just a beautifully painful but happy conclusion to the story and I’m endlessly grateful I picked this series up and ETERNALLY grateful to the person who told me to stick with the first one and see it through. I saw it through and I will be thinking of this story and these characters for a longggg time. I can already tell.
“Yours,” I ground out. “It’s yours.” My blood. My body. My soul. I had given her all of that a long time ago. I even had given her my life. And I’d do it all again.
